Each year we successfully execute the challenge of finding a venue for a conference and exhibition for 150 delegates in January in a destination that is easily accessible for delegates attending from over 30 different countries. This year the chosen venue was the Ritz Carlton Abama in Tenerife renowned for its excellent service. Another key draw was for the attendees to experience some January sunshine allowing them to have some al fresco dining in the evenings.
The conference aim is to review the previous financial year and motivate the team to work towards the target set for forthcoming financial year.
The exhibition launch is a spectacle. Delegates wait in anticipation to see the new products that are being launched. This year, the Marketing Director made quite an entrance dressed as Leonardo di Caprio in a Pilot costume replicating the film ‘Catch Me If You Can’.
Delegates went through ‘security procedure’ as they entered the exhibition which replicated an airport lounge and showed off the new business travel range.
The final dinner is the company awards Gala dinner which took place around the main pool of the hotel followed by a secret ‘dark circus’ themed after party.
YES were assigned concept, creative, pre, onsite and post-event logistics including supplier management, venue sourcing, event styling, contract management, site inspections, all dinner theming and entertainment and production of the live awards and circus after party show.
